Oglesby vs. Kingsbury

Kingsbury by a long shot. Oglesby is a good shooter but still looks like he belongs in 7th grade. Kingsbury was an amazing shooter and had the build to battle in D1.

Kingsbury could shoot from a mile out, but he was a very one dimensional player. I hope Oglesby can build his game to become a more complete player. And hopefully Oglesby never gets tanked and pisses in the lobby of a Holiday Inn.

Kingsbury was a McDonalds All American! I have to take him in every category!

I looked back at his college stats, wow he shot a lot..........

In his sophomore year he averaged 9 three point shots per game and averaged 4 makes per game. In 33 games he shot 297 three point shots and made 117.

He averaged 7.25 three point shots per game in his career and only played 3 years.

He was a really good athlete in that he was strong, could jump and could put the ball on the floor fairly well. I think his craziness overshadowed how good he could have been had he had his head on straight.

He was strong. I don't remember too much jumping ability. Not sure that the dribble-drive was really a strength of his game, either.

I think Josh has a chance to be a more complete player than Chris. As a pure shooter, Kingsbury was a savant.

Funny story about this, I was once arrested in college for doing to same thing at the Holiday Inn (10 or so years ago and man was I shtfaced). When I woke up in jail the next day and got my police report, it indicated that when I was confronted by police I informed that I was Chris Kingsbury. Needless to say I think I was very lucky only to get a public intox.
But to the OP, I say at this point Kingsbury dominates everything. Oglesby has a lot of work to do to get Kingsbury status.

Oglesby is a good shooter no doubt, but i feel their alot of people on the start Josh bandwagon simply because he hit a few three's, he has not shown enough on defense, if he starts over Marble it is because Marble is needed to be fresh to backup Cartwright
people seem to either ignore or forget Marble did end lst season as a starter

Chris was the Brett Farve of basketball. Fearless and took some ill-advised shots but he had an uncanny ability to drain the deep 3 when the pressure was on.

I recall a home game against MSU that was pretty tight coming down the wire. Chris was about a step behind the line with a guy in his face but put it up anyway. He missed, we grabbed the offensive rebound and the ball came right back out to Kingsbury who had backed up to 5-6 feet behind the line. As soon as he catches it, he pulls the trigger again and drains it. A couple possessions later he drills it from just as deep on the other side of the floor. The announcers were raving about his range, MSU had to call a timeout and CHA was rocking. When the kid got hot he was something to watch.

I still remember Duke Vitale raving about him on a telecast saying are you kidding me on some of his shots.

are you half retarted? Chris was also a great passer and on the ball defender.

Kingsbury hands down the better pool player and beer drinker at the Q. And also the better shooter from anywhere. This can't be a serious question at this point.

I pick Oglesby in all events, he won't be too drunk making an *** of himself shooting half court shots during games. Kingsbury sucked and was about as amazing as Pierre Pierce was to the Hawkeye program...I'm not 100% positive but pretty sure neither of them graduated or finished there career with the Hawks and it wasn't because the league came a calling.
