I'm gonna say 5 - 7. Better team than 2012 with tougher schedule. Don't see a bowl appearance right now.

Assuming the same offense returns looks like a 3-9 season fighting to get to 5-7

Really depends on how poor the offense is again? If the offense is improved (but still bad) they could get to 6-6. Having a real hard time imaging a typical KF 7-5 season

Optimistic = 7-5 Dline much improved, run game strong

realistic = 6-6 (cause anything less unacceptable) offense slightly better, defense wins a few.

homerizm pick -9-3. We get lucky with a new QB, oline and rbs stay healthy, defense gets back to full strength. We get all three troohys back, lose competitive games to OSU, Michiigan, and drop one we shod win to.....someone other than ISU

Sad when my "homer" pick is 9-3...lol...stay tuned for 2014 picks !

Thanks Freak ! Due this Spring, and just starting to freak(no pun intended). We are 36 and a tough, long, expensive road to here, but we are excited !

You do realize that Gardner more than had his way with us...They don't need Denard to beat us, Gardner is perfectly capable of doing so again. They are climbing very quickly and may have found there way back to the top tier of the conference quicker than many of us imagined.

Defense will be much improved and carry them...offense can't get worse with all the injuries and it won't matter if Davis is back or not, it will be better. Iowa needs to go NE Patriots and focus all their passing attack on their TE's and RB's and get a quicker than crap, athlete to play in the slot.
