My biggest complaint with instant replay is they wait until the ball is about to be snapped when they initiate it.

This is what I dislike about the state of today's football, both NCAA and NFL. All the way down the field we rely on the officials interpretation of where the ball should be spotted, but we get to the endzone and suddenly we have to spend 5 minutes analyzing the ball carriers knees from 7 different angles.
