Should Tksirius Start Any More Game Threads If We Lose?

  • No, this is clearly his fault. There is a cosmic connection between this db of a poster and losses.

  • Yes, let's don't be silly. He has nothing to do with losing. Although, he is a loser, obviously.

Baer and Wagner have to start. Cook and Pemsl not clogging the lane or rebounding makes it virtually impossible to win. They need spot minutes until they get going again. They are a long ways from being plus players right now.

Like Dean said, Jok isn't getting healthy this year probably.
Then shut him down and let him get healthy for the draft camps. He isn't doing his draft status or the team any good, and the freshmen might as well use the minutes if the team stinks.

Maybe. It depends on what the difference is recovery time wise between not playing at all and playing. If it doesn't make much difference, you might as well play through it. It's not like Fran and the trainers don't discuss this.

It has to be something that can't be injured further, but at the same time, it obviously severely limits what he can do when he plays trying to deal with it.

True, but a back issue isn't really a "play through the pain" injury.

It sounds like it is more spasms than a back injury to like a vertebra or something like that.

Yes, but that is something you can't play through. I've had back muscle issues...one weird move and you're done. Can't imagine trying to play basketball if it's spasms.

At this point, maybe 5 more W's if he plays effectively; 6 absolute tops. Whoopty-do, that's NIT bubble. Just not worth it. PJ needs to look forward. The youngsters must take their lumps, toughen up, learn about effort and do or die.

Cook was sick or hurt?

Sorry. I should have clarified. I was referring to JB, since he was 1 for 7 from 3 and usually opens the floor with his ability to cash in. No, Cook just did not play well enough for Fran to leave him in the game, according to Cook himself.

JB is only shooting 34% from 3 this year
