If we continue to embrace the progressive idea that the pass can be used to set up the run, he should be able to get to that number before the end of the regular season, much less the bowl game.

I have been watching and listening to the Hawkeyes since Forest E, and this is the best Hawkeye game I have ever seen
That interception by Jackson was as good as it gets. Just might have played himself into All American consideration

Lol it's not negativity. It's a reality check. We lined up with the roster of OSU and pounded them into the dirt. If all things were equal we would beat Wisconsin, but they are not. If they were sports would cease to be fun. Wisconsin is a entirely different match up and frankly they are 100× more prepared for our form of attack. Remember Wisconsin is our red headed cheese eating cousin that lately has been chatting up the same girls. They won't be baffled by our 2 and 3 TE sets and they likely won't blow coverages in the redzone. If we play to today's level we can play with even the mighty Alabama. So if we take that show to Madison I believe we will run them out of their own house, but I believe that the clock will strike 12 and our fancy clothes will change back to blue collars and we will play more to our average against Wisconsin. In that scenario we likely lose by 7-14 range. In case you were wondering I do hope to hell that I am wrong and we can go skunk our next 3 opponents, but I have seen the hawk fly for a long time and he usually doesn't spend long in the clouds before finding a nice perch somewhere in the middle.

Anyone that starts talking about no chance against Wisconsin 45 minutes after Iowa just butt-kicked #6 Ohio State just isn’t serious, loves being miserable and isn’t worth reading.

I can't believe this was the same listless team I saw last week against Minny. Let Stanley PLAY, he is a stud. Line played GREAT!! Young needs to be in the rotation. I was on a Ohio State board last night and they gave their 10 reasons to hate Iowa, I thought they took it off an Iowa board. Needless to say most of what they said was inaccurate some incredible accurate, but they harped on Iowa's DULL offense and Boring Kirk. Well welcome to the new look Iowa!

Was it ridiculous when we lost to Northwestern 17 to 10? The only ridiculous thing is your unwillingness to recognize that this day/night we played outside of our natural minds and that of course it would take just about that much to go on the road and beat an undefeated team that has dominate line of scrimmage play. We were stronger than OSU in the trenches and we negated all that athletic advantage that they had. Well that is exactly what Wisconsin does. So it basically 2 identical teams trying to do the same thing to each other. The good news is we have a better Quarterback. All the same to beat Wisconsin we will absolutely need another inspired performance. We have shown it thrice this season already so of course it is possible, but anything less will most certainly fall short. Sorry if pragmatism leaves a bad taste in your mouth.

Have seen many an Iowa-Wisconsin game in my life including the unforgettable and demoralizing fake punt game and I don't remember a time in the last two coaches tenures that these teams weren't built the same way and Hawks didn't have a chance to win. The Badgers were built to mirror the Hawks ever since Hayden and the coaches after Alvarez had the same philosophy. It is true we have played a harder schedule so far and that we should have/could have won the three games we lost. I hope no one new was injured and GO HAWKS!!!

Must be an English teacher, huh? Not to pick but Northwestern was two weeks ago and we didn't exactly light the world on fire playing the Gophers either. Next game could go either way - I hope we win

I didn’t criticize his grammar or syntax. I told him that I don’t read his posts because it’s one long block. I did criticize for his negative response to Iowa’s blowout of the #6 ranked team they rarely beat.

Again I'm not negative. I liked our chances in both this and the PSU game. However as you said "this game is over". So who are you to judge how soon I look ahead to the next opponent.
Why is my analysis of the matchup negative? Just because I don't like our odds? Seems to me that you are the negative one. Maybe you are just trolling for arguments, but you got a paragraph out of me and that will be all.
