!*****Official Pantyhoosiers @ The NIT Hopefuls Game Thread*****!

Results of the game not withsstanding...because it went our way but have you ever seen 4 starters on a team fouled out in a game +1 OT? I've never seen it before. That's a lot of whistles.

Pretty unusual. How about a team getting down 9-0 two minutes in, coach benching the starters, get down further at 17-4, and still come back and win the game? That's not normal either.

Well, the YoungHawks have done it again.....

After the almost disasterous start, the Hawks buckle down and tough out an extremely necessary win.....

Defeat Penn State at Carver the final game of the regular season and I do believe we are in the NIT

Baer has to be the player of the game

Jok certainly has to be in consideration also

And I just might add Tyler to the mix.

so is this the final nail in the coffin for Tom "I look like I molest children" Crean?

I hope not. Indiana is always prone to be a dominate powerhouse. If they got rid of Crean and found the right guy to replace him. We could be looking at a decade of Kentucky in the B1G. No thanks.

As Dakich said during the broadcast, I'm not sure Crean is the problem with this year's team. Their basketball iQ as a team is not very high.

I am not a Crean fan at all. Yet they did wan the B1G last year, and I think he was won it twice in the last 5 years I think. Now the other years haven't been the greatest, especially for Indiana so I get that (7-11, 9-9, and currently 5-10). I'm not an Indiana fan, so I guess I don't know if that is acceptable or not for that kind of Blue Blood programs fans.

I love the smell of Napalm in the... I mean I love beating Indiana any time of the day, cause I love watching Crean go baserko on the side line.

Nope, it is not. Imagine Nebby in football, that is exactly how Hoosier fans are. Except Indiana basketball actually has had major success in this decade. Most Indiana fans that I know actually like Tom Crean. He has had them at the peak of the mountain. He recruits really well. His players really seem to like him. The fan base was expecting a top 4 finish in the B1G this year with a chance to win it. They also are expecting a sweet 16 run (looks doubtful). Crean has been given the benefit of doubt more than most coaches because of injury ravaged seasons. With this season the goodwill needle is starting to move. I think Crean is feeling the heat. I personally speculate that he will be given another year. If it is anything like the train wreck of this year, I could see Indiana making a move.

Yeah, and didn't they win in Iowa City late in the year to seal the Big 10 title?
