Official - Oklahoma Plans to Apply for PAC12

The BIGXII will live to see another day, unfortunately. I think all the screeching will end soon and we'll find once the smoke has cleared that nothing has changed.

Oklahoma could have some problems getting into the Pac-12. Arizona, Arizona State, Cal & Stanford may form a block of schools against Oklahoma.

The Pac-12 had problems with their most recent re-alignment. Those four schools plus Washington all wanted to keep their annual trip to Los Angeles. The L.A. area is the recruiting hot-bed for every one of those teams. Washington is not pleased that they only get to visit the Coliseum & Rose Bowl every other year.

The Pac 12 may have to come up with a very creative schedule to appease that block of schools. Plus, USC may end up being against adding the Sooners. If adding Oklahoma may jeorpardize the annual game with Notre Dame, USC could be against the expansion. Look how ****** Iowa fans are that the Hawks will only be playing the Badgers two out of every four years.

I really don't think the SEC wants Texas A&M. If they were all fired up about the Aggies, they wouldn't have put in the restriction about lawsuits from other members.

Not really believing anything coming out of Orangebloods, and not really believing anything being said by ESPN.

ESPN reports Tx had meeting and Tx said OU was gone. Do not trust Texas or ESPN in any of this. ESPN always reports Tx is trying to save the day and everyone else is trying to destroy CFB.

This is the truth. Last year ESPN actually credited Texas with saving the B12.

UT Regents call special meeting on September 19, 2011 @3PM. One of the topics is:

1. U. T. Austin: Discussion and appropriate action regarding delegation to act on matters related to athletic conference membership and contracting

This special Texas regents meeting at the same time or on the heels of Oklahoma's Regent meeting is no coincidence. One week ago Sunday Texas officials met with Oklahoma. Now this special meeting. Rumors about approaching the ACC from Orangebloods this week. Looks like Texas is scrambling and knows something is about to drop.
