Iowa had a third and 4, I think. JVB dropped back to pass. We only had 1 receiver run a pattern and he was blanketed.
Eddie was very critical of calling a play with only 1 receiver to throw to. "I just don't understand it."
Was listening while working so I couldn't catch it all but that's what I heard.
Maybe someone else can elaborate.

In the last 2 games, it's been 38-0 vs. PSU's starters and 28-3 vs. NW's starters. That is awful.

Not that it makes a lot of difference but neither PSU or Northwestern took out their starters. Just pointing out that your statement is totally incorrect.

1. That post was made at the end of the 3rd quarter. So up to that point, NW had not taken out their starters, but we hadn't scored either. So that part of the assessment was actually totally correct.

2. I'm pretty sure Keenan Davis scored a 5'10" 165 lb redshirt freshman last week for our only touchdown. I would have to check the tape to see how many other starters were in at that point for PSU...maybe it was all their starters and the RS FR CB. In which case I'd amend my statement...but I don't think that was the case.

So no, it wasn't totally incorrect.

Wow, even Dolph and Eddie are being critical now. They are the two biggest homers in history.

This, my friends, is the true indicator that not all is well in Hawkeyenation. These guys (at least Dolph) have a ton of contact with KF. If they criticize the program on the air (and obviously don't care about offending Kirk), something aint right...
