***OFFICIAL NBA PLAYOFF THREAD***

The Celtics are just lucky they arent down 0-2. Im beginning to think they are just too banged up to make a run at the title.

Allen, Pierce and Bradley are all hurting and KG and Rondo can only carry them so far. If they get past Philly, I think the Miami/Indiana winner beats them in 5 or 6.

Its a shame though. Injuries could end up costing them a possible NBA title in 3 of the 5 years the "Big 3" have been together.

Boston was never a title contender this year.

Yes they were. Allen missed most of the last half of the season and they still had one of the best records in the league during that time. I just dont see a way they can do it now with Pierce, Allen and Bradley all hampered by injuries.

I hate Miami but if I have to watch a Philadelphia vs Indiana ECF instead of watching good teams play (Like Chicago vs Miami or even Boston vs Miami) because of stupid injuries to start players I'm going to be ******.

These playoffs suck. And I'm not just saying that as a Bulls fan (though that doesn't help)

The West is going to rule again. Spurs vs Thunder winner will wear the crown.

The Heat and Celts will probably still emerge, but they will be worn thin by long series in the ECF. As a Bulls fan, I dislike all the Eastern teams left, but will root for the Pacers and Celts...then the Celts.

Spurs are surgical in dissecting the Clips tonite. Thunder vs Spurs will be the young skywalkers vs the old crafty vets....it will be the series of the entire playoff.

Now, maybe the Lakers come back...they have a punchers chance with Kobe and the bigguns....but only a punchers chance.

Miami goes down. Bosh was missed.

Love it. Lebron misses 2 FT's that would have given the Heat the lead. Sounds like Bosh is out the rest of this series and Wade has been cold pretty much the entire playoffs so far.

Lebron's quote after Game 2: "The game is not lost or won with those two free throws."

Here's to hopefully another year that Lebron does not get a ring!!!!

Miami will not have another game where all their other players besides Wade and James have less than 5 points each. Indiana is going to have to figure out how to score more or they will not win this series.

If James and Wade keep shooting the ball all the time it could very well happen.

Miami's role players aren't that good offensively and I'm not expecting anyone of them to go off for 30 but 5 points isn't hard to get. Miami has been ice cold from behind the arc. "The Others" went 9-34. Wade went 8-22. The Pacers won by 3. I suppose if all three of those continue the Pacers can win the series averaging around 80 points a game but I really, really doubt that's going to happen.

Wow. Kobe f*ck*d up bad. LA up 7 with two minutes to go and he has two consecutive turnovers, an air ball and a missed 3 pointer. OKC rallied and Steve Blake misses a wide open 3. Durant seals the win. Unbelievable...

Kobe is a washed up old man now. It is painful watching him throw up jump shots and not have the ability to fly into the lane and create anymore.

KG was in straight beast mode last night. Celtics looked very good at Philly. The refs were atrocious for most of the night, IMO.

Pierce commented before the game that they know this is more than likely their last shot together to win it all again and they have a huge sense of urgency, especially after what has transpired in the other series (Bosh injury).

Miami down 1-2. Pacers are playing well but I get the sense that once Wade and LeBron finally figure out how to play without Bosh then this series will be over. It's still fun watching the Heat lose..Keep it up Pacers!

San Antonio still hasn't lost a game in over a month and they look poised for another championship run.

Wade should change his last name to Bag. What a ridiculous display last night getting in Spoelstra's face and having to be held back. He's arguably increased his doucheyness 10 fold since Lebron came to Miami.

I dont think the bolded happens in this series. Pacers win in 6.

They have got nothing from Miller and Battier. Battier defensive prowess is overrated and Miller was specifically brought in for his shooting and has been either hurt or afraid to shoot.

Well I knew Miami's role players wouldn't play that bad again but I didn't see the Wade no show coming. It's not very often Mario Chalmers scores 25 points and the Heat lose. Wade did this disappearing act last year against the Bulls but he had James and Bosh to carry the offense. They need him to play well in order to beat the Pacers.

He is under a lot of pressure and he is pi$$ed.....not condoning the behavior, but I get it.
