!*****Official Iowa Vs. Stetson Game Thread*****!

Seriously, what is a reasonable # for total wins? 8? 10?

I'm going with 14. We will likely finish the last non-con games going 2-2. I do think we win 7 or 8 games in conference. The conference is down and this team is so young and inexperienced that they should improve as the season goes along. They really can't be any worse defensively than they have been so far.

JB is supposed to be the best shooter of them all. Not necessarily the best overall player.

I believe it was one of his brothers who said this, and I believe he said he was the best over all out of the bunch. Would be nice if it happens. Got to keep in mind he is just a freshmen. Ronnie Lester wasn't ALL THAT either when he was a freshmen, but arrived onto the seen his sophmore year which is not all that uncommon among outstanding guards.

Keep in mind the gritt and a champion spirit courses through the veins of the members of that family.

Says who? Jason was a big recruit because of his shooting

Iowa, Wisconsin, UNI, Stanford and Vanderbilt is a "Big time" recruit?

Maybe you and I have differing opinions on who a "big time" recruit is. I'd say Luka Garza with offers from Georgetown, Louisville, Indiana, Notre Dame and a dozen others, that is a "Big time" recruit. I don't think Josh Ogelsby was "big time" with offers from Minnesota, ASU, Illinois, Providence and several others, and that offer list is as good/better than Jason's. I don't think Brandon Hutton was a "big time" recruit with offers from Wisconsin, West Virginia and Iowa. I don't think Andrew Fleming was a "big time" recruit with offers from Florida, Memphis, UNLV, and Nebraska.

Jason wasn't a "big time" recruit either, unless you wanna change your stance on Fran's recruiting and say that Ogelsby, Hutton, and Fleming were all "big time" recruits.

It is in an article with quotes from the family. Maybe it was best overall I can't remember for sure. But it was definitely best something.

I think it was the CR coach who coached all of them that said that he was as good as any of the Bohannon's.

It is funny that 56 just keeps on bashing the kid. We tried to tell him that Moss was gonna be good, but all he kept saying is that if he was good, he wouldn't have RS, and wouldn't be behind Ellingson. Welp he ain't behind Ellingson any longer....

Jordan isn't perfect, but as PhotoHawk pointed out, there is lots to like about his game so far as a Fr. and as a Fr. there is lots and lots still yet to improve upon in his game as well.

Jason was a top 100 recruit and ranked better than Cook was. Man you pick the weirdest things to argue about

His offer list isn't very impressive. Is Luka a bigger recruit or Jason? I'd take the kid with the Georgetown, Indiana, Louisville and ND offers every day of the week myself.

Jason committed May of his junior year. Most offers come in the summer AAU circuit and he had already committed. Jason was a big recruit

With that offer list? Ok, whatever you say man. You will have to re think Fran's recruiting. By your own standards then Fleming, Hutton, and Ogeslby are now all "big time" recruits.

I disagree personally, but you are the one setting the standard.

Bohannon was a top 70 recruit. You look dumb on this one
