If Kirk doesn't have the balls to go for it this early in the game it makes me scared for the future. You can't just leave it up to the defense every time. Sooner or later we have to have control of the ball if we are going to control our own destiny if we're going to win close games. I wish Kirk would put some confidence in the offense like he does the defense. It's not like Minnesota was shutting us down.
