Personally, my definition of "looks like a bowl team" fir this year is 6-7 wins. The next two weeks will either bolster or wain that opinion.

I see very few thinking this squad is more than a 6-7 win team and most are reserving opinion until after the next 2, if there lies any justification for believing 7+ is possible.

None of this is even close to isu fans thinking that 6 wins is even worthy of a pipe dream.

Sorry, I just realized that i have not gotten used to a team having an even record being classified as a bowl team. I don't think I'll ever accept that. It's dumb.
 




The Big 12 is wide open for the taking this year. West Virginia, Texas and Kansas State are at historic lows, Oklahoma and TCU weaker than usual. Baylor and Okie State could trip themselves up at odd times. This could be their special year for the elusive conference championship.

Kansas State is at a historic low? I guess that's true as long as you're ignoring every year from 1893 to 1992.
 


I am just saying that they still control their destiny with regards to the Big 12 Championship and BCS berth, thats all. They are just a few lightning strikes, fluke plays, bounces off the ball, and missed field goals away. Sam Richardson has his ankle healed up, and Jeff Woody ran for like three touchdowns on Thursday. Plus they have Jack Trice Magic or something on their side.
