We can only hope now that we are turning the corner, next week is going to tell us a lot..

I predict Iowa won't win by 40 next week. I hope people won't be disappointed in that. I think they've got the o-line figured out though which will really help the running game which will really help the passing game.

So fricking awesome to see this happen vs Fitzgerald. An actual beatdown while he can slink back home with a 3-5 record.:)

Exactly. I've learned not to get too up or down with this team. Many thought we had it rolling when we beat Indiana but then we played Maryland.

Certainly fun to see them come out aggressive like they did today, hope it continues!

If the Hawks play vertical versus horizontal, as they did for most of today, they are a different team. That's stating the obvious of course, but will KF and GD realize what can happen when you go down field instead of side line to side line.

The game is more exciting, the fans are happier, the announcers doing the game as well as post game show take notice and you win big.

The question is, which philosophy shows up next week? Vertical or horizontal?

Great win but it appears JRs two "great games" have come against two of the three worst teams in the Big Ten and both were at home. Two good games and six average to bad games still doesn't make me feel to comfortable with the ending schedule.

If KF, GD, and JR can prove me wrong then I will eat crow but I think it's telling when fans are going crazy about JRs performance against Indiana and Northwestern.
