Stanzi to McNutt!!! Were in business!!!
I dont know I have it on tivo or what ever and I have watched it a few times. The more I watch it and get over the "we won" and "cokers hits" I think we got outplayed and most of the time should have lost that one. Ya just cant count on the big plays to win consistantly. If they had scored we would have been down by 2 posessions and I know we could have punched it in at the end, but still would have been in the L side of the coulmn with time running out. I dont mean to be a DD here, but ......
Norm's defensive philosophy haunts me yet again. I hate giving QBs that much time. I just don't understand sitting back and getting picked apart hoping they eventually make a mistake. That's defense?

Thats all I was trying to say. Love the win, loved the first half. I would of liked to see the second half go like the first, and there never would have been any conversation on it. .Yeah I don’t get it……of course we could have lost that game, but of course we could have won all 11 we lost in the last 3 years, aannnnnddddd of course we could have lost about 12 others?!?! It is what it is…if it wasn’t for the fact that I have seen the same things that happens to us happen to ALL the really good teams, then I might fall for that thought process myself!
Honestly we played really good that game for the most part except for some lapses that looked very much like all 5 of our losses, yet we won?! And THAT is exactly how I’m looking at it!
As far as the passing 57 times thing…….I’ve watched enuff football to know teams that have to throw the ball over 40 times a game win way less often than those that don’t. And HE threw 57 times……I’ve said many times if you took 100 passing yards from Gabbert and gave them to a running back, they’d have been tougher to defend and more than likely would have won…… I know that sounds odd, but they played into what we expected them to do.
