Official "Iowa Hawkeyes vs. UGDR" (Under Ground Dwelling Rodents) Thread

Does anyone know if the B1G can reverse Jones having to miss next week? That wasn't targeting at all.

ATTENTION ROOM: Everyone who defends Amani Jones.....there you go. There you go.As i said before. That shouldn't have been targeting, but, he's the wrong kind of energy at times. I like his physical play..but...unreliable
I've had a few myself, but sheeeesh, I can't even decipher what you are trying to say, LOL

His actions after, just watch him. He is not focused. On the sidelines, after the ejection. Im not saying he's a bad person at all. Its just that he seems to have energies that dont remind me of a field general intense focused MLB. Just my opinion i guess. He acts like a defensive back or nfl wide receiver, not an intensely focused team leader at MLB. Im guessing the staff sees it too.

They are balling against Ohio State and I don’t like the state of our defense or running game. Indiana could be a loss in my opinion.

They all could be losses. We balled against OSU last year too.

Gonna need a # of young guys to step up.

Minimize the mistakes and turnovers...I like our chances.

Iowa should file a formal complaint to reverse Jones' first half suspension next week. That was clearly a clean hit shoulder to shoulder. This miscarriage of justice should not be allowed to stand.

Amani lead with his shoulder, he hit the player just under his shoulder. The refs called targeting just because of how hard Amani hit him, which is BS!! He also hit the player like two seconds after he didn't catch the ball, going that fast you cant just pull up. This is a huge problem in the NFL as well. The Packers have paid twice for it

Hes a high energy guy that is is dialed to 11 all the time. He doesn't have the mental aspect Jewell has(few do), but I dont think its lack of focus. Agree to disagree.

Everything you say is accurate, but that is where the sport is right now.

To be fair, Jewell once got tossed for targeting on opening kickoff. But point well taken. We don't seem as cerebral on defense this year and Jewell was a big part of that and is a big part of why he's in the NFL.
