****OFFICIAL INDIANA PREDICTION THREAD*****

Iowa 38
Indiana 24

Coker gets a lot of playing time and gets a td
Stanzi throws 4 td

48-17 Iowa. Solid day all around. Indiana moves too easily between the 20s but can't make field goals and turns it over too much. Score a TD as time expires. Stanzi goes over 300 and 4 TDs and the Heisman talk starts to get serious fuel.

I see 41-13. IU keeps it respectable in the first half, but Iowa comes out strong in the second. We don't see ARob and Stanzi throws 3 more tds.

Stanzi comes out and throws an immediate pick 6. Our defense gets off to a sluggish start. Stanzi throws another int. Indiana builds a large lead. 4th quarter, we start firing on all cylinders. Sash intercepts a juggled pass and runs it back 90 yards. Stanzi throws 4 td's late in game. We win!!!! (Wooopss.., That was last year!!)

Iowa will game plan to attack through the air (KF will not want to put too much on Coker)**. Weather / wind doesn't look to be a factor (2 of RS's picks were long balls into wind last year) so Ricky gets 3 TD's but is due for a pick (that will be inconsequential). I expect Hawks to be a bit flat.

Hawks 31 - 14.

** If Coker doesn't fumble and is productive, Hawks will be more balanced, run more clock and win 28 - 7.

IOWA- 42

Iowa D plays good but O struggles to hit stride is how I see it

Lots of new numbers in the equation this week

I think the stats above would add up to 49 points....

It's the kosher thing to do as a journalist. ESPN doesn't want to pi$$ off any viewers/fans. It's a pretty professional thing to do in my view. Seriously, someone who calls a game cannot predict a game prior to going on air & calling a game. If that would happen it would not look objective.

That is one of the few things I agree with ESPN about.

I think it has more to do with Herbie than espn. He's a stand up guy and calls 'em like he sees 'em

31-10 and it is not even close with 17-3 at half time and then 31-3 after the third quarter.

Stanzi - 23 - 33 with 3 TDs (McNutt, DJK & Reisner)
Coker - 16 carries for 89 yards and a TD
Clayborn - Sack and 2.5 TFLs
Morris - 1st career INT

45-14

slingin dick throws for 330 and 4 scores

coker also adds a td on the ground

DJK has 2 receiving touchdowns and runs a kick back and earns big 10 player of the week honors
