But for real, don't dismiss the Martz talk...he's a players coach, a guy that people love to play for.

Kirk passed on Danny Woodhead and the entire NBA passed on Super Lintendo. No one has a perfect evaluation record.

It's going to be one heck of a staff...Orlando Pace out on the recruiting trail...said he loves recruit's mothers cooking.

Unlike Kirk or anyone he's ever had on his staff here I hope Davis has the skills to consistently manage a two minute offense when the game is on the line. Other than that this is still Kirk's team regardless of the OC and as such his style will still be the way things are done, i.e. more punts from inside the 40 than rest of the BT combined. I would also assume with Davis his recruiting connections in Texas should pay off nicely for this program.

While I don't know if most high school coaches love him I do know that down here in TX Longhorn fans hate him (and do not think he contributed to recruiting) despite their success. They feel broken plays for VY and McCoy enabled them to scramble and create. Get ready for 3rd and long screens and draws-something we are used to.
