Why does Woody always extend himself to the 3 point line playing defense. He doesn't have the speed or quickness to do that and I don't think his basketball iq is good enough to play that kind of defense.

Wife's been calling it for 2 years and I kept explaining how it takes post players much longer to acclimate to and blossom at the D-1 level; kept defending and pointing out the few and far between flashes.

Woody has decent range for a Center. The reason he came up short on that one was because he was swiveling into his shot. He's a set shooter.
