Agree. I’m much more confident this year but stilll, they’re likely borderline 20-40 RPI. Pretty beatable on a bad night, especially as roles are still being determined
So much will depend on how quickly the rotation works itself out. We can't start 0-2 in the Big 10 again.

He’s good and is only going to get better. I like Thelwell too, they’re going to need both. Both will be huge pieces if Iowa is going to be good this season.
We rarely have what's considered a true point guard. This year we have two.

Dare I say, more reliable / consistent as well? It's early, against the puffs but have yet to see the iconic 5-7 minute Hawkeye scoring drought thru 3 games!

So many ways to score. Payton and Dix are two of the best shooters in the conference and both can score at all three levels. Harding and Thelwell can both drive and dish really well. Freeman it probably one if the best scoring centers in the conference. There's a lot to be excited about right now. Especially since we have so many new guys so the chances of getting better throughout the year is higher.

Yep - Thellwell.
From those 5, in a perfect world where Owen doesn't get foul trouble, I'd rotate Dembele for Traore and Pryce for Peyton. Then Harding for Thellwell and Peyton for Josh.
Beauty is you could go 4 G (Sandforts, Dix, Thelwell) with Freeman or go 3 bigs with Josh/Thellwell and Peyton.
Again, not to get too far over the skis but really see a LOT of lineup combos in any given night

I watched a recording of the game when I got home later in the evening.
*77 points to South Dakota? Seriously?? At home???
*I know their coach said this is the most athletic team South Dakota has had since he has been there, but come on man.
*Of course I have to be fair we played without our best post player.
*They did look out of rhythm out there but it is just game three.
Iowa does have some shooters out there.
Let’s hope in about five more games from now they start looking more in rhythm with each other. The crowd looked pretty dead on TV.
