Some people obviously have a problem with this, but I have a feeling there is going to be a good turnout. May not have all of the grumpy 60 year olds getting autographs, but I have a feeling the teens-30 will turnout. I am 30 and have never paid for an autograph in my life, and I am considering it. I think you will have a nice turnout.

You would think DJK would not be "charging" anything for his autograph given recent events. I find it actually appalling despite the fact that I like the guy. Anyone else think this is just in bad taste?

That all depends on where the money is going, IMO. Going to some kind of charity? Who care if he's charging if that's the case (or something similar)?

Would have been better if autos were free w/ items to purchase. That being said, I really hope a lot of fans turn out. Even though Kirk has turned away from DJK, DJK hasn't turned away from the Hawks.

Sure, that would make a difference and would be fairly noble. I have a personal goal to never have a facebook page so I cannot log in to get the details. If anyone else does, feel free to share if it provides where the money is going.

Exactly why i asked where the money is going.

If it's going to fund a party in his room after the signing i'm cool with that too as long as I'm invited.

DJK if you need some hook up in Des Moines hit me up.

Anyone confirm or deny that stanzi or clayborn charged for autographs?

I know that Clayborn's camp required a fee for him to appear. That fee was donated to charity.

There were fees for both Clayborn & Stanzi.

Clayborn was $20 for the 1st item, and $10 for any add'l items.

Stanzi was $10 per item.

Hey everyone,

I will try to answer the questions from above. If you would like a more timely response, please email me at DJKinDSM@gmail.com.

Thanks!

We will have items available for purchase at the event, and I agree. DJK regrets what happened at the end of his Iowa career, and that is one of the many reasons he wants to do this event.

There will be a charity, or multiple charities involved. That is something DJK and I have discussed, and we are in the process of selecting one or two to donate too. All the details from the Facebook page have been copied and pasted into the initial post here too, so you should have the info.

Yes, Clayborn charged $20 per autograph, Stanzi $10, and Sash is charging $10 on Thursday, and $15 on Saturday.

A couple of other notes--- The first 50 people at the signing will get signed "MPOD" (Make Plays Or Die) t-shirts, and we will also have raffles for game-used merchandise. We have yet to determine what that will be, but jerseys, gloves, maybe helmets, are all possibilities.

I hope I answered everyone's questions here. Please let me know if I did not.

I also hope to see many of you out at the Sheraton April 23 for the event!

Thanks!

-Chris
