I do like our guys, and we have Goodson on the way as well. But given the opportunity to dream could you imagine a one two punch of Eno and Karon Higdon?

I think our OL, while competent, is a year away from being dominant. And we're going to have to replace our center again.

I turned the game off after watching too much fb and Penn St had that 90 yd td pass and stuffed OSU on the next series I think. Anyway that is curious chasing the points with a 2 pt conversion for so many reasons.

If you miss the two point conversion and later kick a fg you are now up only 29-21 and OSU can tie with a td and 2 pt conversion. Dont chase the points until absolutely necessary.

Also by missing the 2 pt conversion you are up only 5 and 2 OSU field goals can beat you.

I dont know how much time was on the clock when OSU scored to go up 27-26 but that would be a good time to go for 2 since it would give you a 29-26 lead and a fg only ties you.
 
When you are up 5 points late in a game where you kickoff and the team behind maybe has a short time to have one possession then yes a 2t conversion is correct as you already have a field goal beat with a 5 point lead.

It is amazing how many coaches are challenged on this aspect.

People forget that in 2010 against Wisky in the famous fake punt game the deciding point in the final score of 31-30 went way back to the first half when JJ Watt blocked one of Iowa's first two extra point kicks. Dont throw away a nearly automatic point.

The fan was clearly looking for an altercation. He's lucky that the assistant restrained Francis. Or that none of his players were nearby.

The fan says he gets it. No he doesn't. He's lucky that he woke up this morning with his facial features intact.

Why would any coach even respond at all?
 
Game or not, representing a university in another capacity would bring serious repercussions. What would happen to a guy making 60k having someone heckle him and that was caught on video. Chalk one up to KF on this, he wouldn't do that. Wonder how much KF hears on the sidelines?
