They pull the trigger on Matta? OSU is a good job, not a great one. Gene Smith under that much pressure to make a move?

Honestly no one in Columbus cares about college basketball until the tourney starts. Just seems to be missing on recruiting last few years and although it was great seeing Iowa drub a team OSU didn't bother to get off the bus tonight. Respect him for not pulling an Izzo and throwing his team under the bus in the post game interview, but you could tell he doesn't know why he's not getting through to his kids.

I just re-watched the game. Dan Jockich is still a terrible announcer. His constant rambling gets annoying. On top of that he did a segment about the greats that played in "this building" (CHA), and opened it with Don Nelson. You would think he would have had a clue that it was the Iowa Fieldhouse when the picture showed the fieldhouse brickwork, but I guess he just wants to hear himself talk. To make it worse, later that game he ripped someone for calling another fieldhouse by the wrong name. That loudmouth hypocrite.
