went out in the web to see what Baylor fans are saying. Found this little gem:
"I like our chances. A lot. I don't think their talent quite matches up with ours -- based on what I've seen watching Big 12 and Big 10 hoops all year -- but they played better as a cohesive unit than Baylor did much of the year. Which the Bears have greatly improved upon in the NIT."
Clearly they only watch Baylor basketball this year. The "best" the big12 had to offer only one made it to the sweet 16. B1G was by far a better conference the big12. Iowa St. beat Baylor twice this year, Iowa beat ISU yada…yada…yada. Granted Baylor has been playing solid ball in the NIT, but so has Iowa.
Iowa struggled on the road this year but at best this is a natural court. I think the Hawk fans will outnumber Baylor fans. From reports there was barley any Baylor fans on Monday.
This is going to be a fun game to watch. Can't get much info on how deep Baylor goes, but Iowa should have the edge here. I think this is a game decided by a final shot. I hope Iowa puts this game away early in the 2nd and never looks back!
My complete assessment is Baylor Fans on their forum have just as much childish arguments amongst each other as hawk fans do on Hawkeye Nation.
