# of wins, revamped

Seeing as I had Hawks pegged for 2 wins preseason, I am happy with 5. Think we get to 7 though.

I said 3-9 to begin the season. I was already wrong in a good way, so I'm going to keep it that way.

I'm going with 7, purdue and nebraska. Purdue is just dreadful, one of the worst teams in the FCS and nebraska probably will have fired Pelini by then.

If this happens we will have won more games on the road than we did at home.

Preseason I thought 5-7

After the curbstomping of WMU I thought 6-6

Now I'm thinking 7-5 with wins against Nebby and Purdon't. Wisky is too good and Michigan will outscore us.

I think we'll get to 8 wins.

I think we beat Purdue and Nebraska. And I think the home field allows us to get a split of the Wisky/Mich games....just not sure which one we'll get.

8-4/5-3 with a chance at a bowl win to get us to 9 wins would be a great season coming off the debacle from last year.

While I like the direction of your thinking...Ya gotta ask yourself, "Is THIS team REALLY a 9 win team"? I will agree they are/can be a better than .500 team, so I will zero in on 7 wins and a bowl game appearance, with a great nucleus coming back for 2014. (I don't recall ever being precise on my win predictions to date ranging in 6-8, so yeah, I'll go with winning 2 of next 4, still thinking it'll be only 1, and wishing it'd be all 4).

7-5 with victories at Purdue and home against Michigan. We have the opportunity to put the nail if Bo P's coffin similar to what we did for Earl Bruce many year's ago in Columbus when we beat the Bucks on the famous last second catch by Marv Cook. Bruce was fired a couple days after that loss. I don't think we get it done in Lincoln but would be great if we did.

I'm surprised so many see wins over Nebraska and not Michigan. I like our chances in both games, but I'll take the home field advantage.

I said 5-7 before the season, which I pray is wrong by quite a bit now. I still only expect us to win 1 more game, but I could see us winning 3.
