Chief? Really? The fact that you would use the word "chief" in a sentence like that says it all.
 
Yes, much worse teams with less of a resume have made it in the past. When you look at basketball, outside of the consistent top ranked teams, there have been periods like this. Iowa's problem, it is now and some people get their panties in a wad over it heading into postseason.

In all honesty, losing tonight is not the worst thing for this team, they played like garbage and deserved to lose. Go home take some time to regroup and get ready for the Dance because they are going.
 
With the current selection system I would put them in the big dance. If we were using the old system and looking at the last ten games then no I wouldn't even consider them. Unless things change this team has no chance of a win in the NCAA Tournament.

I hear ya, but unfortunately, I have to disagree. This looked like a beaten team tonight, that was just kicked in the nuts while it was already on the ground writhing in pain. All week to prepare, a fresh tournament setting, and this was the best effort they could put forth... Yeah, this game was the death knell, IMO.

No. This team does not deserve an NCAA berth. And it's totally on the coach.

Bad decision making, no discipline, weak defense...and "let Marble shoot it" is not an offensive strategy.

Fran has officially lost me.

The flaws are so obvious....the patterns so predictable...you can see it coming... it bears an eerily close resemblance to KFz's worst flops. You almost know what's going to happen before it does.
 
Is it coaching flaws or the fact that players are incompletes?

Players are just simply not getting it done, plain and simple.

The flaws of the players is showing up more than any coaching "mistakes" that I have seen.

This little bad stretch is just at the wrong time of the year.
 
There are issues, IA will dance. It's up to them what they do with the offer. We will be watching the sr's last game.

I did know what was going to happen, which is why I refused to waste my time watching the 2nd half and advised others to do the same.
