FYI JT Barrett blows. They'll be all amped up next weekend. If we can win only one game for the rest of the year I hope we wreck that self righteous prick Urban Meyer's season

I agree but if they come to play they will kill us. Are you watching our offense tonite? We have a good opening drive throwing passes and now we cant make a first down, maybe 4 straight 3 and outs.

Now the offense has 10 yards on the last 13 plays, wtf, this is why I did not go up to the game tonite, waste my $60 ticket because of these stupid ass night games when it is cold

I agree with the OP's sentiments...but given the fact we are pillow fighting with a bad Minney team next week is looking shaky.

If Barrett is throwing the football the way he threw it against PSU.......Iowa has no shot.

The OSU/Iowa Game will be similar to the 2016 PSU game.

In the Des Moines rag this morning, KF said Iowa is growing every week, but it's not fast enough for the armchair (his word) quarterbacks. The man gets more delusional by the week.

Apparently he hears or reads what the fans are thinking about his team to make that comment.

My only concern is, is there a continuous clock like in high school? I don't think Iowa scores any points....;)

No one likes OSU, but it's borderline delusional to think we any chance in hell next week, especially since it's not a night game. Last year I felt like Michigan was over-rated coming in but was still happily surprised that we actually pulled it out.

I don't think OSU is over-rated this season. We'll be lucky to be within 40. Their D-line could be playing on Sundays and their WRs are going to give Gervase repeated views of their backsides.

Posted this in another thread before I looked around.....

The numbers 17 and 10 are prominent this season.....

The good news is that we have finally turned them around.....

I would be pleased with 10-17, or especially the reverse next Saturday......

We scored 17 the last time osu was in Iowa City, a 20-17 loss. I would be delighted with this, even on the losing end.....

Hope still remains for a decent showing against the buckeyes, like Michigan last season and Penn State this season

A faint, almost invisible, hope, but it is there.....

We won in 1962 at Kinnick, 28-14.....

Since then we are 3-31 against the buckeyes here and there.....

Iowa really needed that last game to finish 6-6 or 7-5. The Ohio State and Wisconsin games are going to be tough. I suppose the last two could be toss-ups.

Odds are leaning toward Hawks ...
They beat Brutus about once a decade and this is last meeting till 2020.
Requisite 1 elite win per season after hope is waning due to string of crappy performances.
OhSt is ranked #3 and it's Nov 7. Hawks usually start November with a bang vs top 5 teams.

A guy can dream, can't he?
