Very exciting/encouraging stuff. Fran has me excited again about the future of Hawkeye basketball. I think he really knows how to lead and build a program, and his aggressive, personable, hands on approach to recruiting is sorely needed. I think the addition of Speraw to the coaching staff was a stroke of genius. Now we need to get the nucleus formed and some signatures on LOI's. He's certainly hit the ground running, and is off to a great start. I think he represents himself, the program, and the University well.

Agree. Best in 2012 class are Woodbury, Gessell, Paige, Kasperbauer, Sistrunk, Staten, Taylor Olson, Bruxvoort, all Three Ankeny kids, Ingoli, etc etc etc.
They can all PLAY!
In 2013 the early targets should be Jok, Friedman, Sumner, Plagge, Morgan, etc.
They can all play too. Special kids coming through our state. I have said for the last 4-5 years that the classes of 2012 and 2013 have a chance to be the best ever to come out of our state.

Wow, so these kids must have been tearing up the 5th and 6th grade circuit!
They have all played a lot of basketball for many years now. They did start tearing it up in 6th and 7th grade.
