It's all about player development. Gatens couldn't shoot and May couldn't dunk before Fran got here. Plus Fran got that new practice facility built which has definitely helped.

What is the point of this thread? I do not understand how fellow Hawk fans can make sarcastic remarks over a little excitement with the basketball program. I have seen enough "We are back" to the point where you guys are mocking us basketball fans. It is one thing to see Ok4p doing it as we all know he is a Northwestern fan but coming from fellow Hawkeye fans is disturbing. It is not a joke anymore, do you guys actually think you are funny? What point are you trying to prove with this crap?

is that attendence stat correct, less than 4500 per game
if so, those are the people you need to worry about that are not showing up, not a bunch of Internet posters who are trying to enjoy the change in attitude about the BB program,
plus when was the last time we even had that kind of scoring per game after 1 game let alone 2

Look, I laugh at a number of your posts. I just read you are calling the NCAA, that's funny stuff, report back the answers you get about those tatts. But what is the point of this thread? You seriously think we should just give Fran a contract extension because Iowa scored a bunch of points against 2 weak opponents? The whole "We are back" thing was funny at first, we were all saying it after Woodbury committed here but now it is getting old and it is getting to the point of mocking.

Listen buddy, I'm dangerously close to typing with the caps lock on. The point of this thread is to point out we have the best offense and the 2nd best defense in the B10. That may change at some point, but that's not going to stop me from celebrating right now. I'm not a cyclown, I don't rationalize our results based on my perceived strength of schedule. We play who we play and the results speak for themselves.
Say it with me, "we have the best offense in the B10".
