Now that we got that out of our system

You know, the part about being disrespected by the CFP committee and the knuckleheads at ESPN. A 24 hour blow off of some steam is good for the soul and peace of mind, but now we can get back to enjoying the thing that really matters - winning Iowa football this fall. It can be infuriating, yes, so I'm going to avoid getting sucked into it, because this season has been too much fun. It's like the bully on the playground. Stop paying attention to him, and he'll eventually leave you alone, because most of the joy for the bully is getting the reaction. My 2 cents.

Agree. Now back to winning and we can repeat the whole thing all over again next Tuesday evening.:D

Why are some of you guys that've gone ballistic over Iowa's negative treatment by some in the national sports media complaining? Some of you guys also say Iowa is poor, little ole' Iowa. That Iowa can't recruit because of geography, or lack of athletes in the state.

BTW, this is me whining why Iowa can't be a playa' in the national scene of college football: Iowa isn't dynamic offensively or defensively and the coaches don't trust players...So Iowa can't recruit.
If and when Iowa gets a an upgrade of talent from recruiting, will these recruits eventually transfer because the staff still hasn't called a dynamic offense or defense and still doesn't trust players? Are we going to see an old Kirk or new Kirk? Jury's still out.

And why do you care the national sports media has dissed Iowa? It's little ole' Iowa.
