They will it's 90 percent lost if only give one years notice compared to 50 for two years notice. They get like 8 million from the big 12 tv deal. So instead of losing 4 they will lose over 7, but your going to get 23 million from the big ten a year earlier, you do the math.

Except for at the meeting they both indicated they would NOT be on an equal financial footing in the Big Ten to start.

Yeah, but even if they got half of that 23 million, it would still make more financial sense. Let alone the awkwardness of being in that conference for an extra year.
