Now 1-11 Against Teams .500 Or Better In Conference

Don't agree with that. Minnesota has very talented receivers that are big, athletic, and run great routes. PSU has better defensive backs than us. Minnesota will not be overpowered by our defensive line either. They average 6'6 340 across their Oline, and have greatly improved since earlier in the year.
This is a pretty bold statement considering how poorly Iowa's OL has played all year and after Iowa's DL was absolutely dominated by Wisconsin.

Minnesota's OL pushed PSU around today. And PSU is better across the board on the front 7 than Iowa.
Hot take, if you will. We will see next week!

I know you did in a post awhile back but could you post the list of games than make up this record.
This obviously doesn’t include tonight’s game.

The three B1G teams we’ve beaten this year have a combined conference record of 3-17, and two of those teams are winless at the bottom of their divisions.

If an AP ranking of 18 isn’t the biggest fake ID in college football, someone please tell me what is.

But recruits will think beating the Eastern Kalamazoo Community College Partridges in the Bob’s A-1 Drywall Bowl is pretty kickass if we can end the year ranked 24th, right?

Can someone please tell me what happened to Young???

We had one of the best drives all season going!....the man was on a mission!!! THEN...a fumble between the center and qb, that they would score a TD on...

Then no more Young. And I watch Goodson go down on arm tackles. This was the most frustrating thing to me yesterday.

Iowa beat all the teams with losing conference records but one, Purdue in 2017. During the span, Iowa only beat a single team with more than 3 conference wins, Ohio State in 2017. Purdue ended up with 4 conference wins in 2017.

Contrast that with 2016. Iowa was 6-3 against conference opponents. There were 3 wins against teams with winning conference records, Michigan (7-2), Nebraska (6-3), Minnesota (5-4). They lost to Northwestern which also had a winning conference record (5-4). The other two losses were Wisconsin and Penn State.

That’s BF. There’s just no rhythm to his play calling at all this year. I don’t know exactly what, but it feels/looks like he is over thinking shit.
