November predictions

Iowa will beat MSU and Purwho (yes, we will win a B1G road game), and lose to Meatchicken and the CornShuckers.
7-5 overall.
We will accept an invite to the Desenex Crotchrot Bowl in beautiful Trenton, NJ, where we will reign triumphant over a plucky Bowling Green squad.

Our final win of the season came 8 days ago against Indiana...

After Michigan pi$$ pounds this team next week and completely humiliates Iowa, Ferentz will lose the team just like he did last year.

We saw our last win of the season last week against Indiana.

Iowa finishes the season 5-7 and gets blown out in three of four games. Iowa's defense will give up an average of 500 yards a game. If they can't stop or can barely stop two of the worst teams in the country, they certainly are not going stop Michigan, MSU, and NE. All of those teams will ring up more than 40 on Iowa and Purdue might even put up 35 against THIS defense. This team will give up on the coaches after Michigan.

And Norm and Ferentz will do nothing to change...absolutely nothing. They will scratch their heads and wonder why the players are quitting on them. These coaches are clueless...

Agree we saw our last win, but this team just flat-out sucks. Coaching can only go so far. And if JVB is really the best we got, 2012 is already down the crapper, too.

If Iowa wins another game this year it is going to be a gift. Much like the gift that Iowa gave to Minnesota yesterday.

3-1; we lose at Nebraska for a chance to get to the B1G championship game. This thing could end with 3+ team tie at the top.

Every one is looking at one side of the coin- we could be 7-1 or better right now too!

5-0 at home (will finish 7-0)

0-3 on the road (will finish 1-4)

Sitting at 8-3 (5-2) entering the nebraska game. Michigan will lose another game after us, Nebraska may lose one more game before us, & Michigan States only likely loss left is us. After two consecutive wins against top 25 teams, we will win on the road vs Purdue. Nebraska may be a big loss, but we can hope for bad weather, right?

I'm not too worried about the games.

Really I'm more concerned about the off the field stuff.

Can the players stay out of trouble?
Can the coaching staff keep the committed recruits and get more to sign LOI?
Can the coaching staff prevent the player defections that killed the depth of this team over the last few seasons?

i'll guess 1-3 with the win over Purdue.

if Mich, Mich St and Nebby don't run for 200+ yards against us, they should be calling for their coach's head. the blueprint is plain to see, and unless our O starts scoring 40+ a game, we could very well get blown out.

Best case is 1 - 3 with a win vs one of the Michigan teams. But I dnt see this team winning on the road so 0 - 4 is a very real possibility.

0-4 in November and yes, it will be a very long and cold winter with no hopes of a bowl game. I hope I'm wrong but at this point this seems most likely to me.

Anymore I just plan on losing, after the first half yesterday I simply told myself we lost this game and chuckled here and there about how average we really are the rest of the game. I'll watch the games with no expectations, plan on losing, so when we do I won't be so ******, and or if we win I'll be pleasantly surprised.
