I think ND has to go undefeated to make it, and if they do, they'll deserve to be in. They still have FSU, ASU and USC on the schedule. I doubt they make it with 1 loss. On the other hand, MSU, tOSU, or Oregon probably have a decent chance with 1 loss. We'll see.

Golson is legit. He's a big time player and you see what a difference having him back there instead of Tommy Rees makes for ND.

I think the trump card will be the Big Ten championship game at the end of the year and going longer without a loss, assuming ND loses, but I could be wrong. MSU will have played Oregon, Nebraska, tOSU and Big Ten west champ, possibly 4 ranked teams.

I'm so glad things have played out this way so far. It's setting up to be a mess trying to decide who the final 4 will be. So far FSU seems to be the only do doubt about it in. I knew from the beginning that a 4 team playoff just won't work. Too many teams will be crying at the end as it'll be too tough to pick who gets left off as much as gets in. Now I know regardless of if you have a 6 8 or 20 team playoff the last team left off will be crying. But with only 4 in the cries will just be that much louder and the money on the line as much as it is will just be too much. It'll be changed sooner or later but in the mean time I'll root for chaos. In a way I'm glad Iowa isn't going to be in this mess. Imagine if Iowa ran the table towards the end of the year but 3 1 loss teams got in over us cause say Iowa loses to MSU in BIG title game and they liked the other teams pre season rankings more/schedule was tougher... In a way I'm glad that can't happen as I dunno if I could take that.
