Not Happy, but....

It gets darkest before the dawn. I actually see this program turning around and soon. We have rotated plenty of players at these positions and have all or most of the key players back: OL, DL, DB, LB, RB, WR, and TE. The positions where we lose seniors have some good talent waiting to play. Unfortunately, my wish is to have gotten the backup QB snaps this fall. Looks like that isn't going to happen.

The schedule gets tougher but the Hawks do too!:)

What team have you been watching? Our OL and RB rotate only because of injury, our DL only because of ineptitude across the board. We never substitute at the LB position, and very rarely at WR and DB.

The few kids that have gotten to subsititute in at various points in the season, have seen very limited action, and for whatever reason, never seem to see the field again. This team isn't getting better, it has peaked, and the future is not particularly bright.

Yeah we get lucky a la MSU versus one of those. But Purdue looks like a win. The way this season is going we will lose to Purdue, and win back to back vs Michigan & Nebraska. Ha! that would be fun to see some crow eating sessions on here if that happens. Because after a Purdue loss this board will implode!
The question I have and, maybe you can help out with this is..........Can Coker still redshirt?

I'll hang up and listen.

We constantly play 7 on the DL and our best talent might be freshmen or redshirting. I guess I don't care if OL players are playing because of injury. We are setting good there. I like the RB & WR youth too although RB position is better. TE's are good and I like the DB's too. Throw Lomax back in there at corner. We never substitute at LB but THEY ARE ALL BACK and pretty good.

I would ask what game have you been watching? This team will be fine! When you have 20+ young guys in the two deep I really doubt the program has peaked. Jump on for the ride. Although bandwagon guys like you will be back in the saddle and forget what you post!
