That is just plain and simple bad shoting.

Get over it.

He will be better next year.

Message board bashing probably doesn't help him, either.

He's a grown man. If he cant take this than he should not be playing B1G basketball.

If you are 20 years old and not grown up enough for criticism that you have major problems.

To the contrary. If you are a grown adult criticizing a 20 year old basketball player giving it his best effort, you have major problems.

Maybe I am a 18 year old adult. Then what is the problem? If that was his best effort than he should not be playing. One of the worst shooters in the country does not deserve 156 shoots in my opinoin.

I wouldn't count on it, he shot basically the same percentage in B10 games as he did last season. So in two full years worth of B10 games he's proven to be about a 25% 3 point shooter.

just to make a point, 26% from beyond the arc is the same as shooting 40% of your two's. Not great, but not horrible, either.

And, btw... you're not supposed to call players out on this board. And, also... you're a jerk for doing so.

If you shoot 26% from 3 and 29% overall, and that is one of the worst in the nation. Than I would say that is pretty bad shooter. IMO

Not sure where you came up with your converstion rate but, Penn St was the only team in the conference to shoot below 40%

42/156 3's = .269% those 42 makes produced 126 points.

it would take 63 made two's to produce that many points, and 63/156 = .4038.

team-wise, yes, that is poor. but for an individual, as I said, not horrible.

Both 26% for 3's and 40% from 2's are terrible.

I'm 1 of the few people that has been in his corner all year...there are others. I like his basketball IQ and think he does some other things well on the court. He obviously needs to bump that percentage up next year. He's hardly the 1st guy to struggle his 2nd year.

There's this thing called a sophomore slump. I've said the same thing about White when people say he hasn't improved. The league/coaches make adjustments to neutralize a freshman player's strengths. Between the sophomore and junior seasons the player adjusts, improves, etc. and plays well the last 2 years.
