Not a good Iowa play

I really don't like Mike at the top of the key winding the clock to 6 seconds left before making a move. Why not get the ball moving sooner @ the end of half. Anyway, loving the season but I am a little concerned with Mike right now. Not shooting well and not going to the basket. We can't win without Mike stepping up.

Iowa is dreadful in those spots. Seems like most of the time, they don't even get a shot off. Not even a tough one. I didn't want to see Purdue get a chance to score before half, so I'm OK with running the clock down, but I'd rather see someone jack a tough 3 than turn the ball over.. At least there's a chance it would go in.

If he goes sooner, the other team might get a chance to score again. I don't love it but I don't really hate it either.

I am not concerned with Mike but I agree I don't like their late game choices. I think they should just run their regular offense with about 10 to 12 sec left because they have so many players who can hit a shot. That or run a two man game of pick and roll with gesell and uthoff...gives lots of options and run jok off of a double pick on the other side for a kick out.
