No they don't.

Really, if they win 11 non conference games and 9 Big Ten games they would be 20-11 going into the BTT, that would put them in the conversation. The Big Ten is the best conference this year and will get 7 or 8 teams into the dance and finishing 9-9 with a win in the BTT might just be enough.

Beating them won't carry the weight that it would have otherwise. A break in the B10 schedule might be nice but a sweep (play twice?) of them may not impress the committee when it's all said an done.

It will only carry weight if Iowa loses against NW. That said, the fact that they are in the BIG, means it is a team in a power conference that they beat, so it will not hurt to win.
