All I said was I wouldn't be sure that Northwestern has less talent than Iowa. Their best player was out. But actually watching the two teams play it is clear that unlike previous years, Iowa does have more talent. That was a good win regardless of how bad Northwestern is. They have beat us 5 straight times until today. Thorn in Iowa's side. This beatdown felt good.

Is was very clear. NW is not nearly as good as Virginia Tech. Va Tech is struggling a bit now, but when the Hawks played them, they were really clicking (they beat a ranked OK State team a week later).

NW has no offensive presence with Crawford out. And this team crushed Penn State on the road! At least it looks like there will be a few easy wins on Iowa's remaining schedule. Now we need to take care of business at home against a decent opponent.

I said, several times, that I won't pick Iowa to win on the road until I see Iowa play a decent game on the road. If you'll notice, I created a logical model where I absolutely could not be wrong, no matter the outcome. It's one of the benefits of being smarter than everyone else.

That's one of the problems of only thinking you're smarter than everyone else, you leave huge holes in your "logical model" and fail to realize it.
