I saw that Coach Ferentz got his own thread, but I felt compelled to give our defensive coordinator his own thread as well. Just as important as Ferentz is in leading us in the right direction, Norm flat out had these guy prepared as well as any team who has faced Paul Johnson. LSU blew them out last year, but their performance was predicated on capitalizing on GT turnovers...what we saw in the first half tonight was absolutely amazing. 1 first down?!? Vs. a team that rushes for 300 yards a game?

3 cheers for Norm!!!

So... how's his health doing. Because, honestly, losing him almost scares me more than losing Kirk.

We all curse Norm from time to time with his "Bend but don't break" defense but bar none----- it wins the ball games!! Thank you Norm and I hope you are at Iowa for a long long time!! Great game plan tonight.
