Nobody puts baby in the corner

Please Kirk, keep playing AW and DMX--The cat is out of the bag--AW is clearly the best back on the team (that we have seen) and DMX adds a dimension our offense needs. When JC comes back keep playing Wadley (He is perhaps the MOST talented back of your tenure). Please don't put baby in the corner, after the break (LD looks to be a fullback at this point.

It seems to me that Canzeri did pretty well. Having them split carries I'd be fine with. You just don't sit Canzeri after all he's done.

If/when all backs are healthy, I can see 10-15 carries for JC, AW...with the hotter hand getting the higher percentage. With 5-10 touches foe LD and DMX.

We need them all, playing sound and continuing to get better. This appears to be the best/deepest backfield I can remember. What's great is that their strengths are all a little different but they all can be effective.

All seem to be big time team players as well, supporting each other.

With a healing/gelling/improving Oline and CJ healing up...it will help them all.

If you really want to **** all over your team chemistry, take a team leader, a senior, a genuine good guy who is beloved in the locker room, and relegate him to 3rd string because he sprained his ankle 1 week after delivering one of the most impressive RB performances in team history and winning the Big Ten offensive player of the week. This is not fantasy football, team dynamics must be considered. I agree that Wadley needs carries because his talent is obvious to all. But Canzieri has looked pretty darn good this year as well. It will be a tough juggling act when all of them are healthy at once.

Nice post. Canzeri is a fine young man and a talented senior. AZ much as I was wowed by the two young bucks I think Canzeri splits carries with them after healing.

airbhg aint got nuttin on these backs......Seriously, it's a damn good thing to have quality backs that can carry a load when called upon.....keep giving them carries, b/c they will be ready to go....

Well said.

All 4 backs can be used substantially. Canzeri is your leader of that group, he's earned it. LD is probably 4th based on what I've seen, but he's been hurt since game 1. It's all a hellofa good problem to have. I think it'll be 3 weeks until Canzeri is 100%, so AW, DMX, and LD will have plenty of carries to show consistency and improvement. If they are all playing at a high level and healthy, it's on Davis/ B Ferentz to get them all snaps and involved.

Jon, please close this thread then flush it from the bowels of HN. No one ever needs to know it existed. It is only serving to taunt AIRBHG. Ktnxbai

Agreed "When Healthy" let JC start and at max get 15 carries However AW should get more carries overall the rest of the season. I don't think you will see JC for the next 4 weeks or so though, if you watch the replay his foot was just about pointing in the wrong direction, so I'm guessing it is a pretty severe sprain unfortunately. JC is not the type of back that will be effective with an injury like this one.
