Mose, do you think many people on this site would actually give the FR time to improve or would they be calling (yelling) for him to be benched after a bad game/series/throw.

I agree that it would be great to have a freshman win the job ONLY IF he is better or atleast neck to neck with Rudock and Sokol or is more mobile and allowed to run. Many people aren't interested in gradual improvement especially after the steep decline over the past three seasons. If a FR starts there are going to be people on here expecting a Johnny football type season and if it doesn't happen they will be screaming at the end of the season about how KF and GD should have gone with Rudock or Sokol.

That is my premise; that Beathard wins the job because he earns it over the other guys. It's already been said that he is the most athletic of the three. With three guys competing, you are going to have fans second guessing the starter no matter who gets it.

Ya Ya I know. They only scored on about 2/3 of the possessions he qb'd. KM knew more plays and was down at about 1/3. If he'd only knew more than 7 plays. Speed. Mis direction. not as good as knowin them plays.
