They are not streaming on WMT, WOC, or KCSI (after several years).

Contract issues?

Poop, I wanted to hear Podo's analysis, best ever.

KSCJ 1360am out of Sioux City used to stream it, not sure if they still do, but i don't have to as i'm actually listening on a real radio. i know, i know, how old fashioned of me.

Anyone that has been streaming the games for the last several years has been doing so in violation of their contract with Learfield.

thats so dumb, how does that affect anything we are still listening to the radio station. Please explain

oh, that makes sense. its a contract/advertising issue. they pay for rights to radio broadcast, when people access it online, they can't tell how many are listening, and then can't gauge how much to charge for.

justin.tv always has the Iowa radio stream for our troops if you want to listen. search Iowa, should be first link.

Love it! They want to guarantee *fewer* people hearing their broadcast and ads just so they can have a better idea of how many people are actually listening? That is so insane that it could only come from someone with an MBA.

How about this: Make anyone streaming this report the # of streams and count their listeners that way? That would actually result in a solid number, something they *never* get from the actual broadcast since there is no way to actually count who is listening to an over the airwaves radio broadcast anyway!

Leerfield sports: retardation nation.

I sent Learfield an email this summer asking about the possibility of an app to listen to games. I bought the MLB At Bat app for $10 in April and it allowed me to listen to the radio broadcast of any baseball game all year, either team's radio feed. It was great.
