No bowl game for Iowa?

I heard during the game today that 10 Big Ten teams could be bowl eligible with only 8 bowl slots. With Iowa at 6-6 is it possible they don't go bowling then or would we just get filled in with another bowl?
 
It is possible but I would think Northwestern and Purdue would both need to win out and get to 7 wins in order to get selected over Iowa.

If eligible Iowa will get picked...I guess its POSSIBLE but unlikely. Even if other teams have 7 wins the lesser bowls can pick who they want as long as they are bowl eligible

This team and staff do not deserve to go to a bowl. They continue to stink the place up. I hope they do get passed over.

No bowl game means no extra 18 practices. Are you seriously going to tell me that wouldn't help this team? Dumbest statement I have ever ******* heard.

The last 5 tie ins can pick ANY bowl eligible team

INSIGHT BOWL — Can select any eligible team after the Outback Bowl.
GATOR BOWL — Can select any eligible team after the Insight Bowl.
MEINEKE CAR CARE BOWL OF TEXAS — Can select any eligible team after the Gator Bowl.
TICKETCITY BOWL — Can select any eligible team after the Meineke Car Care Bowl of Texas.
LITTLE CAESAR’S PIZZA BOWL — Can select any remaining eligible team.
 
Who cares? If they go 6-6 they don't deserve to go to a bowl game. I don't care if they get another 118 practices.

Less bowl tie ins possibly....also I think there was a rule you couldnt pick a 6-6 team over a 7-5 team. That rule no longer applies
 
maybe staying home for the holidays is what KF needs to help him get his head out of his @SS, and Barta on it,
as many who defend KF point out he brings in a lot of money to the U of Iowa, wellif they stay home very little money comes in, marketing takes a hit and no merchandise money from the lack of a bowl game
