No Big 12 Team will make the 2015 playoffs

Baylor, TCU, and Oklahoma are the strongest, but based on two out of conference games none of the three is going to have the resume to qualify. TCU struggled to beat Minnesota and Oklahoma struggled to beat Tennessee. Baylor's strength of schedule will cost them. One of those three must go undefeated to have a remote chance. If it is Oklahoma and they are kept out it will be bad for the Big 12. Oklahoma really wants a new conference and it will further their ambition to leave.

NCAA takes up conferences with ten teams having a CCG again this winter. I suspect there will be 4, 16 team leagues very quickly. If a B12 team gets left out again, it will speed this process up, but it doesn't need more speeding up. You can book it. Friendly bet? Within 5 years I think.
