No B1G POW for Stanley, Jackson Shares It on D

Looking at the numbers of the guy with whom Josh shares it, I'm okay with both getting it.

Frankly, the absurdity of B1G POTW jumped the shark when our punter got it one week against Minny in 2008 in a game we won 55-0.

Here's the list of QBs that have thrown for 5 TDs and 0 INTs against the Buckeyes in the history of their program.....

1. Nate Stanley
2. No one else in college football history
It'll be awhile till anyone else does either...

Stanley seems like the kind of guy that compartmentalizes stuff like this. I could be wrong but I think he puts on the ultimate team player repeat coach speak to the media but has a burning fire inside to just blow up and tear into opponents. I hope we see that this week. You know full well his soph/jr year of HS he wished Wisky would have been recruiting him. I'd be pretty surprised if not. But they had minimal interest in him till well after he'd been committed to us his senior year. I think they did eventually offer late but I could be wrong about that even though they had a QB committed also that class. If he were to ever have a chip on his shoulder I'd say getting passed over for player of the week honors going into playing at Wisky might just be it..

It's true that Wisky was in late. However, Paul Chryst was in on him EARLY when he was at Pitt...earlier than even us I think. Once he got to Wisky after the season, he put the full court press on to get him to decommit from Iowa, but Stanley was having none of it.

Ah that's right now your jogging my memory. They had that coaching change around that time... I don't remember the QB they had instead but they must have stuck with him. Your absolutely right Chryst was our competition for him when he was at Pitt all that yr and then he went to Wisky.

Northwestern has to also lose 2 games against the following teams: Purdue, Minnesota, Illinois. :/
In a year where the Hawks put up a 50 burger against a Top 5 OSU team, I wouldn't say anything is past impossible at this point! :)
