Outside of Vet, Engineering, and Architecture, they are pretty much Ames CC.

They offer different fields, that doesn't make them second rate. And for the record, Iowa isn't exactly the best university in the world, either (the majority of its best programs are medical-related fields). They're both top 50 public universities, with strengths in different areas.
