NIT

Tough call.

I still think Iowa needs another. But most sites have Illinois in, if that's the case, Iowa just stole that bid.

How do you give Illinois a bid after losing 12 of their last 14 games? Iowa might have played their way in, especially if Minnesota goes 1 and done.

Yeah, I don't make the NIT projections, but I had the same questions.
Iowa is clearly better than Illinois and Minnesota at this point in the season.

Depends on who's refereeing...amirite?

We are "clearly" better than Minnesota. I wouldn't say we are "clearly" better than Illinois. We've split with them within last two weeks.

Still, to take us at 17-16 over Minny and Illinois would shock me. To take us and one of them, but leave one out, would NOT shock me.

But, to pull a variation on Del Griffith, if we lose tomorrow, we'll be filling out CBI or CIT brackets, IMO.

You won't be filling out a CIT bracket, it's not for Power 6 teams.
