If you were related or as close to the family as you said I would expect you to be the last person to misspell his last name. Not trying to be a jerk just writing what I would expect everyone else is thinking.

Why??? I know them by verbal name, Jordan, Kiki, Miko, and the one dad Pookie. Not sure if I ever saw their name spelled except Jordan's in an Iowa Football roster and in the sportspage. Hey I am old and I just start typing.

I didnt say he was jewish, I know he is not jewish. If I spelled his name wrong then just say that.

You know what smarty, my female cousin was married to Jordan Bernstine's uncle, the ex minor and major league baseball player. I am from Des Moines and know the families as Jordan's first cousins are my third cousins.

It was a spelling error not an ethnic error, hahahaha

You know what, Roy Campanella wasnt Italian.

this is why...you claim to have relation to the family and some other connections. If that is the case you should spell it right. If you want to play six degrees of Jordan bernstine at least spell it right.

uihawk82 we are picking you apart because we love you and we have no lives or meaningful hobbies. C'mon man, you know how it works. Go Hawks.

First I'm going to say is by reading the Topic Title for this thread, the OP made it sounded like he read an article which Nico or a coach said he was in the running for wOLB spot.

Instead we are answering a question like we are playing XBox.

Nico isn't unseating Lowdermilk any time soon. I don't see him as a FS due to his strong run defense ability but average (at best) pass defense ability. He could be one hell of a situational back kind of like a NB but I don't see him being a force at wOLB with Alvis & Davis graduating.

The topic title is misleading for sure. Also, I am pretty sure you don't get to try out for the position you want like its junior high ball.

I'm actually an assistant coach on the Iowa Football Team. At the start of Spring Practice, we ask who wants to try out for each position group, and the kids are supposed to raise their hands. Hopefully Law raises his hand for LB. Then we'll give him a Dora sticker.

This is the worst thread in the history of this site. You are bad, and you should feel bad.

The bar is very, very high for that my friend.

Or is it low? Would you go under or over the bar? This is going to confuse me the rest of the day. Damn.

Uncle Rod is the only uncle I know about.

I don't think he is disciplined enough to figure out how to play with outside leverage against the run. And not strong/big enough to shed blockers.
Football IQ is a huge part of the OLB position, and with all due respect to Law, that has kept him off the field at the safety position.
