or however you spell his name...

K there was a thread about players hated the most in the big ten.

I don't know if y'all have noticed - but this guy is a major B*****

I first noticed earlier this year when he was playing against someone and every time he made a play he had to do some immature little gesture.

Then the Iowa game he was just as bad.

I saw a Big Ten journey episode where he was playing against MSU and giving the crowd the hush finger after they had won the game.

Seriously I thought Canadians were laid back nice dudes and stuff...

Kid needs an elbow in the throat real bad.

Stauskas is just doing what so many athletes do these days; mug for the camera to get more air/espn time to up your profile. Dennis roman, Richard Sherman, snookie, j-wow, they are all the same. Doesn't matter if you're acting stupid, just as long as the camera is on them. It has turned into the American way and I despise it. I hope he blows a knee out shuckin and jivin after he makes a play.

I can tell you I've made a lot of 3pt shots in my life... maybe not at the Division 1 level - but never in my life have I ever gestured the the crowd or the other team or whatever...

It actually makes me lol a lot.... Ray Allen made like 236 3pts one year in the NBA and never have I seen Ray Allen start wagging his johnson like he just cured cancer after he made a shot.

Staukas basically just looks like a dumbarse.

It's just like how every other team hates Fran because he acts childish yet Iowa fans defend him. Other fan bases hate the ridiculous coaches...and they hate the best players. Iowa doesn't have one player in the same universe as Stauskas.

such a bad analogy... Were talking about acting cocky and arrogant for the sake of being cocky

Not a coach getting mad at the officials.

Staukas is a solid player... but sorry I don't like punks regardless if they score 16 pts a game.

There isn't one guy on Iowa who acts anything like this putz. I don't think Fran would tolerate it. I would love to see a couple tremendously hard fouls on this clown next saturday. Would love for McCabe to knock him into the third row at the end of the game when we are up 15.

Such a little nic.

Don't like him being a cocky pr ick when they come to CHA? Iowa needs to shut him down hard.

That said, he's a baller. Single handedly sunk the Hokks in Ann Arbor.

He strikes me as one of those guys who feeds off opposing crowds booing him. Likes to get in the heads of opposing players and fans. Best to just ignore him?

Yep...he talks the talk...and walks the walk...THAT is why people hate him. He's one of the more impressive shooters in the entire nation.

A punk is a punk... not matter if they score 4pts a game in intermural basketball or 16 pts in a NCAA game.

Lol umm no... if that was the case EVERY good player would be hated. Has nothing to do with his basketball skills...

You keep missing the point with this.... so as long as we are good at something that gives us a right to act like punks?

Some weak logic
