I think it's only one person's panties that are in a bunch, and he goes by tweeterhawk. Not playing in final 4's and landing 4 and 5 star recruits on the regular has him all hot and bothered at Fran. Ya know, because the powerhouse that is Iowa bball should basically sell itself.

The point is that in its fifth year this staff seems to be having trouble closing the deal with primary targets. Other than Gesell and Woodbury, what highly recruited players has Fran and Co managed to get to Iowa City? Don't tell me Jok; yes, he was a hot commodity nationally but then his injury caused a lot of programs to cool on him. Trey Dickerson? I'll give you partial credit. But it was no secret that the staff was hoping that Atwood's head would be turned with TD's signing. Didn't happen, so you lose your partial credit.

Put another way: which player or players have this staff signed that caused another B1G coach, or even any D1 coach, to say "Damn. We needed that kid"?

Hawknick, it it a case where the youtube vid just didn't do him justice? He looks like he has potential, but, based on what I saw of his youtube, he needs quite a bit of time to develop. Again, he does look like he has potential.
